Monday Community Meditation with Jerry
This Community Meditation session is guided by Jerry M. Jerry is a lifelong social worker in the field of child welfare, based out of northern Florida. In recent years, he has worked exclusively in child welfare management positions in Washington, DC and Florida. He is the director of a consulting business called The Family Justice Group and focuses on developing community support for families. When not practicing or guiding meditation, Jerry is a dedicated runner, gardener, hiker, reader, dog lover, and turtle watch volunteer during the sea turtle nesting season.
Jerry believes that meditation can bring us all closer to the common humanity and energy that we share. By bringing meditation into our daily lives, we can be more compassionate beings. Jerry’s style of guiding is relaxed and light. Participants can expect to work on developing awareness of the present moment and learning the roles of past and future in our meditation.
