Registration includes transportation to/from DIA; lodging, all meals from arrival Thursday evening through departure Sunday late morning; beautifully guided meditations and talks.

What do we seek help from when times are tough? What got you through the pandemic?

What do we turn toward when times are amazing? What do you lean on when you have great joy in your heart?

What do you take up in times of boredom and monotony? What do you trust to entertain your mind when it isn’t being stimulated by the vicissitudes of life?

This retreat will be a highly introspective experience. Post-pandemic life offers us the opportunity to assess our life to date and to make course corrections for moving forward. This isn’t about self-improvement. This is about getting to know thyself and picking up the things that serve and putting down the things that don’t serve anymore. It’s about approaching your life on your terms with lovingkindness, compassion, and a good dose of courage and vulnerability.

The retreat will be led by Karuna and guests. You can expect a loving and safe container to explore these fundamental questions and some gentle teachings on the abundant refuge available at your fingertips at any time and in any situation.

There will be a 4-week series on refuge included in the registration fee and leading up to the retreat. Details forthcoming.

You can expect lovingly prepared vegetarian food and mindful movement to nourish your body. A perfect mix of silence, inspiration, and reflection to nourish our soul. Spacious afternoons will allow you to choose how you spend your time, perhaps enjoying a walk in the nearby wooded forests, a nap, journaling, or daydreaming. There will be daily yoga asana offered as well.

COVID precautions: We’ll ask you to sign a waiver as a proof of a Covid vaccination or a negative Covid test to participate in this in-person event. As for masking and social distance, we will adhere to the current recommendations at the time of the event per the CDC.
