The Tantric Diamond Path to Freedom

Weekly Sessions

Kicks off 23 January 2025

Each Thursday morning session will be an invitation to restore and recharge your battery, recommit to your personal well-being, and to lean into finding ground when life is groundless and a mind that is vast when everything around us is begging us to close down. Thursday mornings are meant to be a refueling station of compassion, lovingkindness, equanimity, and empathetic joy mixed with a little f*ck yes of friendship and glitter. You’ll receive an introduction to Tibetan Buddhist tantric practices.

January – February: An overview of The Source of All My Good. We’ll revisit the text in depth later in the year.

March – June: In depth study of the 1000 Angels of Bliss. A practice of guru yoga by Je Tsongkapa, the crowning jewel of Tibetan Buddhism in the Gelukpa lineage. 

July – August: Preparing for Tantra. Learning how to make offerings and specifically how to use the offering mandala plate. We will lean on Rob Preece’s book, “Preparing for Tantra.”

September – December: An in-depth study of The Source of All My Good, the Lam Rim Chenmo by Je Tsongkapa. 

Together these various elements represent a well-rounded fertile ground for any practitioner interested in studying Buddhism and realizing the many facets for a life of happiness and freedom that you can expect to realize as you study the dharma (teachings of the Buddha).

We’ll explore how to use painful and/or difficult experiences to cultivate wisdom, compassion, and courage. Likewise, we’ll examine what could be helpful in chaotic situations or when habitual patterns surface (again) in our life.  Gently we’ll acknowledge what those habitual patterns are and also how they have served us in the past.  Perhaps we’ll decide what next we want to pick up and put down.  This journey together will encourage us to take inventory and decide if any calibrating would better serve us for the rest of our lives!

If you have ever felt trapped in the same old habits and painful emotions and the patterns we all face that sometimes feel impossible to shake, this year-long study is for you.

We can we get unstuck. These teachings will help you to work with your shenpas (all the attachments and compulsions that cause us suffering). Kelly Marie will offer us many practical tools each week for how we can liberate ourselves from them. 

About Kelly Marie

Leaning on the stellar instruction she has received from her meditation and dharma teachers and Life Itself, Kelly Marie designs her classes to create the type of reflection from which you can find a meaningful and enriching life. 

This is her 8th year sharing Tibetan Buddhist practices on Mind Oasis. 

Sassy, fun, and knowledgeable, class with Kelly Marie is sure to inspire.  You can expect to learn exactly what you need to create a joyful and curious life.  Expect your paradigm to shift in playful and potent ways. 

Kelly Marie has studied Tibetan Buddhism extensively. She has taught and guided hundreds of hours of meditation sessions.  It is her greatest desire that all beings be happy and free.

When she isn’t mountaineering, guiding meditation,  writing a book, teaching a Dharma class, riding her motorcycle or trail running, you will find Kelly Marie in the mountains of Colorado getting lost in heaven on earth.
